Distributions of $\piz-$hadron correlations as a function of $\Delta \varphi$ in \PbPb collisions at $\snn=5.02 $\TeV, for inclusive, in-, mid-, and out-of-plane orientations of the $\piz-$trigger with respect to the event plane. The near-$\Delta\eta$ ($|\Delta\eta|0.8$) region that includes the near-side jet peak is shown in blue markers, and the far-$\Delta\eta$ ($0.8|\Delta\eta|1.35$) region is shown in red markers. The associated charged hadrons have $1.5\pta2.5 $\GeVc. The flow background is fitted using the RPF method and shown by the colored solid lines, where the thickness of the line is the statistical uncertainty of the fit.
