Higher-order moments of $[\pt]$ measured for events selected with the $N_{\rm ch}$ (I) and $\eta$ (III) centrality estimators at midrapidity in Pb$-$Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}=5.02$ TeV are shown in the left and right columns, respectively. The $k^{\rm norm}_2$ distributions are fitted with a two-component model (continuous gray line), where the estimated Geometrical component is also shown (dotted-dashed blue line). The curves for the $k_3^{\rm norm}$, $\gamma^{\rm norm}_{\langle |p_{\rm T}|\rangle}$, $\Gamma^{\rm norm}_{\langle |p_{\rm T}|\rangle}$, and $k^{\rm norm}_{\langle |p_{\rm T}|\rangle}$ distributions correspond to predictions based on the fit of $k^{\rm norm}_2$.
