Total integrated charge, normalised to the tracklet length, measured in a single read-out chamber for electrons and pions in \ppb collisions at \mbox{\sqrtsnn = 5.02 TeV}, in comparison with results from test beam measurements (solid lines) . The electrons and pions from test beam measurements were scaled by one common factor to compensate the difference in gain of the two data sets.
